The Small Industry Division is responsible for protecting and monitoring the interests of smaller companies, focusing on the needs and priorities of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with up to 250 employees. SMEs constitute over 90% of Confindustria associates.

The local structure of the Small Industry Division is organised in a manner similar to that of Confindustria, aimed at achieving Confindustria’s goals and mission throughout Italy.

The President of the Small Industry Division is appointed centrally every two years, who also serves as a Vice President of Confindustria.
